Welcome to Pause 4 Paws!

Situated in the heart of rural Wexford, yet only 3 miles(4.8km) from the N30, Pause4Paws has been purpose built to provide a comfortable and secure “stay away from home” for your dog or cat. Because of my affection and respect for animals, it is my intention to cater for your pets comforts, and offer you the security of peace of mind.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Karol Cullen. I bought this property in Co. Wexford for the purpose of building the kennels. I have always loved animals (there were always animals in our house). I currently have 2 dogs of my own, (both are rescues).

At Pause4Paws each animal has its own roomy accommodation, and out door exercise area. They get several visits a day, be it for feeding, walking or just a chat and a pat.

In the unforeseeable event that a vet is required, there is 24 hour cover.

As well as dogs and cats I can also provide a caring enviroment for other pets, such as Pip and Squeak, a rabbit and a guinea pig who have been recent boarders. And another rabbit called Bunny. (See his pic!)

Whatever your reason for needing to board your pet, be it going on holiday; an illness or moving house , you have one less thing to worry about when you let us look after your pet.

Please spend time to view this web site and find out more about Pause4Paws and the services provided.  Many pictures are shown on this web site of pets that have boarded here. Just click on a pic to find out more about that pet, then click to exit.

Visits are welcomed.

I have had to delete the guest page due to unwelcome spam. However, if you wish to leave a message, send an e-mail to pause4paws@eircom.net

Dog Kennels

The kennels have been purpose built to give your dog a pleasing and comfortable stay.

Each pen is fully insulated, with roomy accommodation, and a large outer area.

Heating is available if required.

Your dog will have a minimum of 3 daily supervised walks down a quiet country lane, and also has all day access to fenced off green areas to sniff around and socialise with other dogs, if possible!!

(Canine socialisation is encouraged and prefered).

However, there are secure field areas for dogs that are not happy to socialise.

Two meals a day are provided and special dietary requirements can be catered for, where possible.

Bed and bedding are supplied but we advise, for the comfort of your dog, that you bring its usual bedding and any toys it is fond of.

If you have the time, or the opportunity, bring your dog for a visit to get to know us. Viewings are welcome, but it would be advisable to phone beforehand to arrange an appointment.

For the safety of your dog and other clients we do insist that dogs have had regular vaccinations, including kennel cough. Certificates are required.
